Postgraduate Certificate
in Psychosynthesis Studies
A One-Year Professional Development Programme
(stand alone or leading to the Master of Arts programme in
psychosynthesis psychotherapy) validated by the University of East
London.
An intensive part-time programme for counsellors,
psychotherapists and psychologists trained in other therapeutic
traditions, who wish to understand the visions, principles and
practice of Psychosynthesis.
Transpersonal psychology, the fourth force in modern psychology,
is increasingly being recognised by practising therapists as an
essential area to be integrated into their professional life.
Psychosynthesis offers a model and methodology which addresses
this need and embraces the transpersonal and the psychological
within a holistic model.
The aims of the one-year programme are to:
> enable students with substantive experience in other
psychologically-based modalities or professions to acquire a depth
knowledge and understanding of the theoretical models, principles
and practice of psychosynthesis
> relate these to either clinical counselling settings
or other applied settings
> to undertake and participate in a process of
self-exploration and personal/professional development in ways
that supplement the psychosynthesis curriculum
> prepare students for further study in either the
Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy or Applied Psychosynthesis route, as
appropriate
On completion of the course students will have gained:
Number of Trainer/Tutor contact hours : 261
Number of private study hours (inc therapy and individual
supervision) : 339
Total number of credit hours : 600
